How we handle personal information
Review status: This operational notice must be reviewed by an Australian privacy professional before commercial launch or use by another agency.
Alpha Education Agency collects information needed to answer enquiries, provide education counselling, manage student applications, communicate with students, maintain provider relationships, and administer commissions.
Information we may collect
Contact and identity information, study preferences, application records, uploaded documents, messages, task and phase activity, consent choices, provider information, security logs, and financial/commission records relevant to the service.
How information is used
We use information to deliver requested services, operate and secure the portal, contact students and authorised representatives, prepare applications, meet contractual and legal obligations, and improve service quality. Marketing is recorded separately and should only be used where appropriate consent exists.
Storage and service providers
The portal is hosted through Hostinger and its hosting backup service. Notification email is delivered through the configured email provider. Education providers and other authorised organisations may receive application information where necessary and authorised.
Security
Portal passwords are hashed, sessions are protected, and uploaded documents are encrypted. No online service can promise absolute security. Suspected privacy or security incidents should be reported immediately.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained only while required for the service, an authorised business purpose, or applicable obligations. A withdrawn student record is scheduled for anonymisation after the configured 90-day grace period. Backup copies expire according to the backup retention settings. Specific legal retention requirements should be confirmed before deletion.
Access and correction
To request access, correction, export, consent withdrawal, or deletion, contact admin@alphaedu.com.au. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.
